Dag 17 / Day 17
A busy day for Junya, making “photo albums” for the family!
Today the weather was fine, and we decided to finish the “photo albums” for the family. I won’t show the main photo here, and I won’t say what is inside the album yet - it will be a surprise for those lucky few who receive an album. All I can say is that it is signed…
Junya doesn’t have teeth yet. That doesn’t mean you can’t feel it when he bites/sucks your finger - not to mention a nipple! I decided to take a photo of his mouth so you can see the place where the teeth will be one day.
Later Yuuta came over to show us a story he wrote for school. It was about his attempts at setting a new personal record in high jumping. Something he does at school. I thought the story was quite long, considering he did in one afternoon, but after reading it I found out why. He had used the words メートル and センチメートル (”meter” and “centimeter” spelled out in Japanese) quite a number of times throughout the story, almost in every sentence, thereby making it look very long! Whether it was on purpose or not, so didn’t have to come up with so much to write about I don’t know
Our house at the moment is full of vegetables. Actually, it is always full of vegetables, but at the moment there is more than usual. For instance, there are chestnuts in big baskets up on the root; there are grapes on the table in the living room; there are dried capsicums on the balcony; and beans in a basket on the floor in front of the fireplace. Here is a photo of the beans. I like the color. What’s that color called?
